SUP YOGA @ Meelup Beach 9:15am to 10:30am Want to bring your yoga practice to the water? Join Heather and Meelup Beach Hire for floating yoga where your yoga practice takes on a whole new level of awareness.. $30 total for 75 minutes (board hire included) BYO board and pay 20$ - Booking essential, space is limited, pre-pay online to reserve your place. Hatha with Heather @ Perfect Balance Gym Wednesdays 9:30 - 10:30am

Hatha with Heather focusses on gentle stretching, breath, alignment and moving slowly through basic poses, finishing with a guided relaxation. Hatha with Heather is great for those who enjoy a slower class, beginners/intermidiates, or those with health concerns. It's also a fantastic class for stress reduction and those who are sore from other athletic training (weight lifting, running, surfing, etc..).

 

This class is free for Perfect Balance Gym members or $20 drop in fee for non-members.

The Art of Yin Yoga on demand

Yin Yoga is known as the quiet practice, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Yin postures are held for three to five minutes which gives the body an opportunity to open and release tension from deeper tissues. This form of yoga is a great complement to more dynamic and active practices, and is a great aid for learning to sit in meditation.

The practice works with our energy body, clearing blockages in the meridians and increasing the flow of prana or chi, improving the health of our organs as well as increasing our energy and promoting a general sense of wellbeing.

This class can be booked for private groups or one-on-one and can be combined with a Hatha Vinyasa practice if needed.
